We’re thinking SRO tix on the Rooftop. Goat needs room, y’all.
Lest you think this is an actual petting zoo or animal rehab facility…it is not. Just someone’s backyard in Tullytown. But that’s really not the point here.

Over the past 10 days or so on his
Phillies Insider blog,
Larry Shenk often mentioned the intelligence that the Phils gained from their advanced scouting / Assistant to the GM
Charlie Kerfeld. Here’s Kerfeld from his playing days in Houston in 1986 after the Astros clinched the NL West.

- An estimated 50,000 people attended on an absolutely beautiful fall afternoon. If you look through the lens of Philly EDGE’s favorite photog Brian Hineline, you prolly need not read the rest of this post.
- As good as the music was, the 45-minute set included “Promised Land,” “The Ghost of Tom Joad,” “Thunder Road,” “No Surrender,” “Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?,” “The Rising” and “This Land is Your Land,” Springsteen’s address to the crowd was easily the best part of the show. (Text at bottom of this list.)
