Fall Out Boy and Hawthorne Heights to play Tweeter Center in March

 

Pop punkers rejoice, Fall Out Boy, whose punkadelic pop rock song "Sugar, We're Going Down" was everywhere in 2005, is set to come to the Tweeter Center in Camden with MySpace heroes Hawthorne Heights and All-American Rejects. The show date is set for March 19.
Tickets go on sale Sat.

According to the folks at Slack's Hoagie Shack (110 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills; 215.949.0200) radio station WIP-AM (610)is set to hold a Chicken Steak eating contest there on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 11:30 a.m. The event is a part of a WIP live remote.
The biggest eater Saturday gets the chance to compete in Wing Bowl 14, scheduled to be held at the Wachovia Center, Feb. 3.

It’s the day of the Wing Bowl.
The event was created in 1993 by WIP (610 AM) talk-radio hosts Al Morganti and Angelo Cataldi when it became clear that the Eagles weren’t going to be dazzling Philly anytime soon. About 150 people showed up to Wing Bowl 1 on January 29, 1993 in the lobby of the Wyndham Franklin Plaza Hotel in Center City. There were only two contestants.
