Philly EDGE freelance photographer Brian Hineline was at the R.E.M show at the Mann Center Wednesday (June 18).  He took these shots of Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam joining Michael Stipe on stage during the encore.

His report: “The encore got pretty interesting. Eddie Vedder came out and sang ‘Begin the Begin’ with R.E.M. …Then Johnny Marr from opener Modest Mouse (and The Smiths) joined R.E.M for ‘Fall on Me.’”
