I heard Howard Stern talking about the comedian Earthquake and his One Night Stand episode on HBO.

I checked it out on HBO On Demand. The guy is pretty funny, I laughed out loud quite a few times. He's a black comedian who drops in just enough subtle humor about racism and slavery that really makes you think about stuff and puts race relations in perspective.

I dunno ... I'm always on the lookout for new comedians I haven't heard of.

I just got an e-mail from Jim's mailing list that his first ever stand-up CD, "Jim Florentine LIVE: Get the Kids Out of the Room," is out.

He's the dude who does Special Ed on Crank Yankers and is a regular guest on The Howard Stern Show.
