But while all four of the Montgomery County communities have reached their goal for signing up local residents and businesses, only Lower Makefield has done so in Bucks….
Warrington officials use extra cost as an excuse for lower numbers. They have obviously not been to western Cheltenham Twp. recently.

…The board of supervisors turned the issue over to the planning commission, last week. It will be discussed at their Sept. 2 meeting.
Shawn Ward, former planning commission chairman and treasurer of the Sycamore Street Community Association, is confident the ordinance will pass.
“Honestly, I can’t thank the township enough for their efforts in working to get this done,” he said. “We are just looking to use signs created in a tasteful manner; nothing big or bold that would cause a distraction and take away from Newtown’s historic buildings.”…
