Track of the Week: “What Good Are Plowshares?” by Hoots and Hellmouth

Pass the whiskey and turn up the Americana…
West Chester’s Hoots and Hellmouth (more on them here) are about as entertaining a live folk act as you will ever see. The band will team with Jenkintown’s New Motels (whom you can read a story on here) and take a road trip up the Northeast Extension of the Pa. Turnpike (that’s I-476) this Thursday, July 3 to play the Fixture music series sponsored by the Weekender of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
The fun happens at The Bog (341 Adams Ave. Scranton), which has a jukebox even learned, Philly music snobs would find interesting, and a clientele that never. Stops. Drinking.
Cover is $5. Beer is cheaper than that.
‘Til then, listen to “What Good Are Plowshares?” by H&H at our MySpace page.
