Philly Sports Backwash: We Serve Minors Week, A’s Nation has a hostel in Hatboro and Eagles Cheerleaders in bikinis

[ ]    Dept. of We Serve Minors: Since the Phils will be out west for the rest of the week, Philly EDGE thought it might be a good week to highlight the other (Minor League) teams that play in the Philadelphia area.

Tuesday, June 24: Trenton Thunder

No team has more mascots. In fact if you ask, they’ll create another one just for you…. Tonight (June 24) is Shelley Duncan Shillelagh Mini Bat Night.
And tomorrow, they are giving out free Wangs! Wooooo!

Seriously: It’s a beautiful facility and no ticket costs more than $10.

Wednesday, June 25: Reading Phillies

Thursday, June 26: Wilmington Blue Rocks

Friday, June 27: Lehigh Valley IronPigs

Sat.-Sun. June 28-29: Camden RiverSharks

[ ]  The Phils begin a three-game series in Oakland tonight with the Athletics, who have Philly roots…that go back to when the team (a Philadelphia team) was sort of THE SHIT in baseball.
There’s a historical society dedicated to them in Hatboro, which we wrote about waaaaaay back. It’s a great destination if you’re a baseball fan. And Towey’s is right down the street if you want to watch the game, which starts at 10:05 p.m.

[ ]  The Eagles Rah-Rahs get some coverage because of some sort of enviro-friendly, green…. Hey look, nice BOOBIES! (700Level)
