[ ] Marisa Magnatta, the pixie-ish associate producer of The Preston & Steve Morning Show on WMMR-FM (93.3), has been named to Edison Media Research’s Second Annual "30 Under 30," a nationwide search recognizing the 30 most promising talents under 30 years of age in the radio industry. All of those named to the list will be honored June 26-29 in Minneapolis.

[ ] CBS 3’s Phabulous Web Babe online journalist Nicole Brewer (remember her?) has her own blog on the CBS3 Web site ..Unfiltered…and she’s offering up a week of sex in Philly…Sex And The City, that is.

The official premiere date is May 30th and I couldn't be happier. I am the proud owner of the complete series on DVD (Thanks Mom!) Still, as a fan, I can't help but want more! And it's finally happening.
To celebrate, I'll be featuring Sex And The City In Philadelphia , a series of stiletto-inspired events taking place throughout the city (and hosted by denimpr.) You can expect lots of fashion, cocktails and plenty of shoes.
Of course, this being the Web, a commenter has already hammered Brewer by slamming her new report on the $100 cheesesteak at Barclay Prime.
[ ] Musician- and soon-to-be-Icon, Daryl Hall’s free Web cast, Live From Daryl’s House, is pretty cool stuff. The seventh edition debuts tonight, May 15, at 8 p.m. and features Philly R&B singer Mutlu and veteran indie rocker Chuck Prophet, who were recorded for the series during SXSW in Austin this past March.
The killer moment: Hall and Mutlu do a reggae version of “Maneater.” The Philly native will play the Keswick Theatre in Glenside with Mutlu on July 12, 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.

My May goal is to masturbate, or at least have an orgasm, every single day this month. It’s in honor of (National Masturbation Month). It’s going to be difficult though. For starters, I haven’t masturbated yet today, and Lost is on tonight, and after that I may be too freaked out to masturbate. And then in a week and a half I’m out in LA for a whole week, working some 14 hour days, sleeping on people’s couches - will I be able to masturbate then? I’m surprised you don’t pop up on the reality circuit.
I did one, the skating show on Fox. I did that mainly because, wow, what an honor to be able to skate with Kurt Browning. I basically got to learn from a world champion, which was incredible. I get asked to do insane shows all the time and I turn them down all the time. I have a motto, which is “No smooching on television.” Not for me anyway.
[This is the point at which the interviewer stupidly did not ask a followup question regarding how this modesty squares with Gibson’s 2005 Playboy spread. Instead, he chose to go with an asinine, straight-outta-the-box interview question …]
