News to reuse: Endless Campaign thankfully in its last 10 days, Colbertmania and Pope Bear is bitter

[ ] Pope Benedict XVI is due to arrive in Washington D.C. on Tuesday. He is scheduled to hold mass at Nationals Stadium Park April 17 and Yankee Stadium next Sunday. …A Time story on Yahoo, USING THE WORST HEADLINE EVER, hints that the Pope may address the sex abuse scandals that have “left much of the American laity bitterly disillusioned with their Church's leadership.” (USA Today and Time via Yahoo)
Pope Bear is extremely bitter:
1- He has been bumped from his flight into the U.S.
2- The Pope’s U.S. Tour will not stop at Dollar Dog Night at Citizens Bank Park Tuesday.
3- The Yahoo headline sounds like a reality show gone wrong.

- Former President Bill Clinton took part in a campaign fundraiser for his presidential hopeful spouse, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), at Puck in Doylestown Sunday night. (Intelligencer)

With one of his handlers holding an umbrella above his head, the former president shook hands with practically all of the 150 or so people who had waited about an hour to witness Doylestown’s first visit from a president…..
There were another 100 or so people waiting, warm and
dry, inside the restaurant Puck.
The ones inside paid as much as $2,300 — the maximum amount allowed for individuals to donate to a campaign — for a private reception with Clinton, and maybe hear him play the saxophone, as a fundraiser for his wife Hillary’s presidential campaign.
For that kind of coin the only sax we want to hear is The Big Man….
- Both Sen. Clinton and her rival, Sen. Barack Obama, will be in Philly tonight, though Hillary will rally in Bristol Borough Jr./Sr. H.S. tonight at 8 p.m.. (Courier Times blog) And, Sen. She chose Crown Royal; had it beer Jaeger, we might have moved to endorse. Her drinking is one of the most human things that we have seen a candidate do in this primary campaign. Kudos, Senator.
