Learn how to be a stand-up comedian

Brad Trackman wants to teach you to be funny.
A regular at some of the most active comedy rooms in New York City, Trackman is credited with appearances on Later, Star Search, Spike TV and more. He now hopes to impart some of his comedic talent on wannabe stand-ups in Philly. His creation, The Philadelphia Comedy Academy (PCA) , is designed to allow amateurs, who, perhaps, make their friends, families and co-workers laugh (in a good way), to develop five solid minutes of stand-up material.
PCA classes are held on Monday nights in April from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Helium Comedy Club (2031 Sansom St. Philadelphia). Tuition costs $400 and includes three classes, a private hour-long session with Brad and a graduation performance on a Saturday night at Helium at the end of the month.
