Music News: Dave Matthews in Camden June 3 and 4, new Norristown venue and we’d watch Erin O’Hearn knit, but this is better

[ ]   Pre-sale tickets are already available for the Dave Matthews Band’s shows at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden June 3 and 4. There is also a June 10 date in Scranton and a June 27 show in Hershey (with the Black Crowes opening).
In addition to its past material, DMB will debut songs from its forthcoming record, the follow-up to 2005's Stand Up, which it is currently recording with producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Alanis Morissette).
Tickets for most shows will go on sale to the general public on March 29.

[ ]   The Loft at Taylor’s at the Olde Mill (200 W. Marshall St. Norristown; 610.272.2011) will hold its grand opening this weekend.
While many of that area’s bar-goers may already be familiar with Taylor’s for drinks and dining, the venue is cranking up its rock offerings this weekend with Shovelhook tonight (Mar. 6) and Soraia, Clashing Plaid and Preston Swift tomorrow (Mar. 7).

[ ]    6ABC will (finally) air its special on Electric Factory Concerts 40th anniversary this Saturday (Mar. 8 at 7 p.m.). Philly EDGE was at the party held in early February.
Host Erin O’Hearn, who covers the local music scene with Tuned In features on 6ABC, will talk to the Philly DJs who have been involved while the Factory has bloomed under founder Larry Magid.
