The Fightins used Jimmy Rollins and Cole Hamels to debut a new alternate home uniform, which will be worn by the team during the 2008, their 125th anniversary.

The throwback duds are solid and cream-colored, while the hats that match them are blue with a red bill, much like the unis the team wore in the 1940s.

“It’s a throwback uniform with a modern touch,” said David Buck, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Advertising Sales, via release. “Additionally, the alternate jerseys will be made out of a ‘cool base’ fabric that provides for better comfort for our players.”

 

And, SURPRISE (!), they are now for sale at the Majestic Clubhouse Store at Citizens Bank Park through Saturday.
