This week's cover story about "Megillat Esther," a graphic novel version of the book of Esther produced by Philly-area artist JT Waldman, may have stoked your appetite for things graphic/comic.
For further reading check out "Black Hole" from Philadelphia-based artist Charles Burns. It's a depiction of Pacific Northwest teens who are besieged by a sexually transmitted disease which causes their bodies to morph.
