Cull ’Da Sack

Cull ’Da Sack

5 places to revel in your manliness this weekend

1. Ink & Ride

More than 200 tattoo artists; motorcycles, roller girls from the city and suburbs, burlesque acts, freaks (their term) and loud, angry music….And somehow Tommy Lee is NOT involved.

Check out the Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention & Motorcycle Show from February 2-4 at the Sheraton Center City, 17th and Race Sts. Philadelphia. Admission is $15 per day; weekend passes cost $35. More info at 800.541.8239 or www.Tattooedkingpin.com.

The can’t-miss pick: Nu Ethix suspension act. Let’s see Tommy Lee do that.

2. Be Porntastic

Adult film star Gianna Lynn will be the featured performer at Creekside Cabaret (3225 Advance Lane, Colmar; 215.822.2886) Friday, Feb. 2.

Take a pen: Gianna will be signing DVDs, pictures, forearms, foreheads, foreskin…whatever you have.

3. Pay tribute to Wing Bowl

The philosopher Voltaire* said: “If God didn't exist, it would be necessary to invent him.”

Much in the same vein, WIP’s (610-AM) Al Morganti and Angelo Cataldi invented Wing Bowl. The chicken wing eating contest/ beauty pageant is a nice distraction to keep Eagles fans from flinging themselves off the Ben Franklin Bridge at Super Bowl time.

Chicks, beer, wings and sports talk: life gets no manlier.

Wing Bowl 15 is this Friday, February 2 at the Wachovia Center in South Philly. As usual, it’s sold out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t go to your local bar Friday morning and start guzzling beers and devouring wings.

(* Not to be confused with Voltron: Defender of the Universe, who was way cooler and not French.)

4. See the Auto Show

The 2007 Philadelphia International Auto Show takes place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center (1101 Arch St. Philadelphia) from February 3-11. More than 700 vehicles, including concept, classic, luxury, pre-production and exotic models (of cars, that is) are expected.  Tickets cost $10 and can be ordered at www.phillyautoshow.com.

Eagles QB Jeff Garcia is scheduled to appear Tues., Feb. 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Getting his autograph is not manly; ogling his girlfriend, Carmella DeCesare, is.

5. Watch the Super Bowl

Yes, linebacker Brian Urlacher would look great in midnight green…(sigh). His Chicago Bears take on the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLI this Sunday, Feb. 4 at 6:25 p.m. on CBS (Ch. 3).

Watching the game at HOME with your wife or girlfriend is NOT manly (unless you are watching with both of them); watching it at a local bar is very manly.
