The Edge of Night

 Comedy

with all the (well deserved )whoopdedoodle about the sparkly new club Helium in
center city, let's not forget that a good time can be had in skippack!

Sam Eatons is an intimate space (holds about 60) up in the Skippack (near lansdale).
If this place were in the village it would be the hippest thing since Lenny Bruce--
but since it's in Skippack its kind of like having a bunch of rowdy, funny friends over
for a beer. Great sound. No bad seats. Tonight's headliner Alan Marx is always
a great treat.

Or--go out to Doylestown and see Brad Trackman at Poco's. But don't take my word for it--
here is what John Kensil--the KING of Comedy (cough--idiot child--cough) has to say:

Brad trackman
local guy who was on start search and comedy central
real nice and funny
and I had on a really cool vintage rat pack sharskin suit jacket
and went really well.
I took a handful fo free condoms from the bar
i thought they wer gum.
and this really happened- my dog got another skunk last night and my house stinks.
It was then that my dog suddenly became
an " outside " Dog.
he's been out in my yard since 1 am
stinking it up.
I have to go buy skunk shampoo.
my fun

What time does that show start tonight in Skippack? Is the club easy to find...is it right in the village?
