Reelblack Presents, Philadelphia's longest-running screening series devoted to African-American film enters it's Fourth Season with a special 20th Anniversary screening of SHE'S GOTTA HAVE IT. Spike Lee's debut feature film was filmed in just 12 days at a cost of under $100,000. It went on to gross over $7 million dollars and ushered in the current Black Film Renaissance. Co-star John Canada Terrell, who resides in Philadelphia and portrayed Greer Childs in the film, will participate in a post film discussion with Philadelphia Inquirer columnist Annette John-Hall.   About the film: Spike Lee stars as Mars Blackmon, one of three suitors vying for the attention of beautiful Nola Darling (Tracy Camilla Johns), who is taking her time making up her mind about her sometimes belligerent lovers. Unapologetically sexy, She's Gotta Have It is sadly still unavailable on DVD in the US. Reelblack will screen it from an original 35mm print. For more information, please visit www.reelblack.com.
