[ ] Philly EDGE recommends: RA RA Riot’s new CD The Rhumb Line dropped today. If you like Vampire Weekend, Arcade Fire or indie music that sounds like it is going somewhere quickly, pick it up/download it. The band is scheduled to play Johnny Brenda’s on Oct. 15.
[ ] Nod to Doylestown’s Anthony Green (Circa Survive, Saosin) whose sexy mug is on the cover of this month’s Alternative Press. The home page has a podcast, but damn if we could get it to work.

[ ] Rock deities AC/DC will release their new album Black Ice exclusively at Wal-Mart stores on Oct. 20. They will kick-off their world tour in late October in Wilkes-Barre, presumably at the Wachovia Arena, which is within1000 yards of a Wal-Mart supercenter. (phillyBurbs)
