After the senator has finished his address, he’ll be commuting to Jenkintown (MontCo), -fwiw- one of the more integrated suburbs, for lunch at the
West Avenue Grille (which is, like, 12 feet from Rep. Allyson Schwartz’, D-13, office, btw. Schwartz
is a Clinton backer.). A sign on the door of the Grille indicated that the establishment will be closed to the public for a "private event" today.
Thus far there is no public address or rally scheduled in Jenkintown today.
Officials of Jenkintown were in preparation mode this morning as U.S. Secret Service canvassed the area while the municipal lot and side streets were cleared of cars.
No word as to whether Obama will cavort and play in the gazebo in the town center (right).
Philly EDGE is starting to think Obama may have a crush on us; The West Ave is downstairs from its Fortress of Solitude apartment. –Ed.
