[ ]   Obviously trying to horn in on all the clamor over the unnamed Bucks emu, the Double-A Trenton Thunder, who are thinking about fielding an entire team of just mascots, are having a contest to name the team’s latest addition, a puppy born to the club’s Golden Retriever, Chase.

       The choices: Lightning, Derby, Catch, Champ and Slider. Vote here.

 

        Well, at least they didn’t suggest 64 names and make it a bracket vote.    But, you can TEXT your vote (for the name… of a puppy… of a minor league team… in Trenton…that already has a dog and TWO other mascots), which pretty much suggests to me that we are in the End Times.

 

 

[ ]  Chester defeated Pennsbury 75-64 last night in the PIAA Class AAAA Boys playoffs. The Clippers play Norristown at Penn State (?) this Saturday for the state title. (Courier Times)
