Awwwww. Story also makes it sound like the Obama campaign is a hell of a lot more fun.

Among most suburbanites’ agendas: elect someone white.
 
-         Sen. Clinton, apparently thinking that the delegate count is scored like golf (wherein the lowest total wins), has discussed asking Sen. Obama to be her running mate. (NBC 10)

[ ]     An unfortunately named group had its first gathering during a Middletown supervisors meeting Tuesday. (Courier Times)
 
It was the first in a program supervisor Chairwoman Lisa Pflaumer has dubbed IGNITE Middletown, or Initiatives by Government and Neighborhoods to Increase Teaming Efforts. The program is designed to increase communication and cooperation among residents and township officials, including police, and to find ways to address crime and quality of life issues.

Graffiti, vandalism, drug dealing, underage drinking and illegal all-terrain vehicle riding (!) and (from the comments)… the fires tha kids start in the woods need to be stopped,

If Dalton dying isn’t a harbinger of the End Times, we don’t know what is. All we need now is a flood…
 
[ ]  Despite this morning’s heavy rains, the flood watches for the region have been cancelled. (Intelligencer)
 
The Delaware River is expected to reach near-flood levels tomorrow in the wake of the storm that ended this morning, but the National Weather Service has discontinued its flood watch for the area…..According to Bill Christ, meteorologist at the National Weather Service’s Mount Holly, N.J., office, the breach into caution stage means that “it’s near the point where people should get ready to move if it gets any worse, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be a problem because the rain has moved off.”
