Coffee wars: All Starbucks locations to close on Feb. 26; Dunkin Donuts improves its food

 
[ ]  Don’t panic… it’s just for three hours.
     Three. Long. Hours.
     Without coffee.
     The big coffee conglomerate, which has fallen on some tough times as of late, is shutting down 7,100 of its locations for three hours (5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) on Tuesday, Feb. 26 in order to retrain its baristas.
     It’s also experimenting with premium coffee (at $2.50 per cup), as well as $1 coffee and free refills.
 
[ ]  In other important coffee-related news, Dunkin Donuts ditched the shitty boxes that can’t cook food worth a fuck without drying it out microwaves for toaster ovens which make its NEW all-day Oven-Toasted menu, including:
 
     Flatbread Sandwiches (Turkey, Cheddar & Bacon; Ham & Swiss; and Three Cheese (Monterey Jack, Cheddar and Swiss).
 
    Personal Pizzas
 
    Hash Browns
 
    The menu items are now available in 3,500 shops, including participating locations in New England, New York and Florida. They will be available nationwide by spring.
