Beanie Siegel goes Halfway...to Wilkes-Barre?

Some close friends sent along the invite at right and asked me if it was possible that rapper Beanie Siegel might actually come to Wilkes-Barre1 to play the show2.
Me: "Maybe...always suspicious of these things3..."
oh and there's THIS (from today's Inky):
Beanie’s bagged for parole violation
A federal judge today ordered Philadelphia rapper Beanie Sigel to serve six months in a halfway house for violating his probation related to a gun conviction.

He will probably report to a halfway house tomorrow, where he will be entitled to leave each day to go to work, officials said.

During a hearing this morning, Sigel admitted that he visited the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City4, which is outside the area in which he is allowed to travel under the terms of his probation.

Authorities learned of Sigel's trip to the casino last month when they read about it in the Philadelphia Daily News5.
So, maybe you best have a backup plan for that night, kids.

1- Love that hyphen. I do. Oh, and calling it 'The Diamond City' is like saying Frisco when referring to San Francisco, so don't be a douchebag, 'kay?
2- Notice the promoter never actually highlights that Beanie will be there. Maybe they'll just have this picture everywhere.
3- Because the hip-hop scene in Wilkes-Barre, at a Ramada Inn best suited for retirement lunches and multi-level marketing scheme dinners, doesn't seem, uh... 'poppin.' (ugh- gonna be sick now).
4- Wilkes-Barre would seem to be further away than AC.
5- Nice fucking detective work. Next measure:Get a bell and tie it to him.
