Oh yeah, once upon a time attending the local comedy scene was like a re-enactment of Gogol's Dead Souls, but that is no longer the case.
Last weekend (f'rinstance) Todd Glass rocked the house at Helium. If you ever get a chance to see him, don't hesitate. He is the anti-cool. Just fun. His show is not so much like a comedy show but more like being at recess with a really loud silly kid. With dangerous mood swings.
